Age: 7| Weight: 11-0| J: Aidan Coleman| T: Miss V Williams| OR: 138

11/10

Dual 23f novice hurdle winner in early-2019. Lightly raced since but showed enough to suggest he retains his ability when fourth of 5 on Carlisle chase debut/return 16 days ago. Should improve.

Form: 211/4P-4

The Mulcair³⁴⁷

Age: 6| Weight: 11-0| J: Bridget Andrews| T: D Skelton| DWS

6/5

Irish point winner who made successful Rules debut in 3m Southwell novice hurdle a year ago. Not seen since pulling up in Cheltenham Grade 2 month later but remains good chase prospect. Had wind op.

Forecasts

Geordie B (11/10), The Mulcair (6/5), Born By The Sea (7/1)

Dan Skelton has a cracking record here and Irish point winner THE MULCAIR gets the nod to make a successful start over fences at the expense of Geordie B. The selection looked promising when making a successful start under Rules in a Southwell novice hurdle a year ago and it's worth putting a line through his subsequent run in a Cheltenham Grade 2.
