Landed 3m Doncaster handicap last term but followed encouraging Ffos Las reappearance with modest fourth in 22f handicap at Stratford when made mistakes. Unreliable but well in the mix if in the mood.

Points winner but very lightly-raced maiden chaser. Makes handicap debut after long absence and others much preferred.

Winless since 2017, and pulled up on two of his last three outings, in 25f handicap at Cheltenham last time. This is easier and visor is reached for now but others still appeal more.

Enjoying excellent season and made it 3-4 with successful start over fences in 21f Stratford handicap chase 16 days ago. Hiked up 11 lb but has more to offer so another bold showing is on the cards.

Forecasts

Summit Like Herbie (6/4), Dubai Outlaw (5/2), Ecossais (11/2), Lough Salt (11/2), Nobel Leader (9/1), Path To Freedom (25/1)

Verdict

DUBAI OUTLAW is the only one of the field on an upward curve so is taken to follow up his convincing debut fencing win at Stratford and make it 4-5 for the season. Summit LIke Herbie is a capable chaser when in the mood so rates the chief threat although Lough Salt is not ruled out either if the fitting of a visor sparks a resurgence.

  1. DUBAI OUTLAW (IRE)
  2. SUMMIT LIKE HERBIE
  3. LOUGH SALT (IRE)
