2m Newcastle novice hurdle winner in the mud last winter but went with no encouragement in Carlisle handicap on last month's reappearance. Needs to leave that well behind with cheekpieces added.
Bumper winner. Maiden over hurdles but nothing wrong with his runner-up efforts in handicaps at Wetherby and Sedgefield this term. Ought to give another good account.
Fair winning hurdler who performed with credit when third of 8 here (2m) last week. 3 lb lower here if Danny McMenamin's claim is taken into account. Ought to be competitive.
Useful Flat winner and finally off the mark over hurdles at Cartmel last summer. Placed twice in handicaps there this summer but down the field at Uttoxeter latest. First start for 11 weeks.
Successful at Perth in August, but form has nosedived badly since and she remains 8 lb above that winning mark.
Course chase winner in February who was having just his second outing since when notching Perth handicap hurdle success in September. Only raised 3 lb so ought to be competitive again.
Encouragement in bumpers and shaped well when placed over hurdles at Perth and Kelso (both 2m) this autumn. Highly likely more to come from him now stepping up in trip for handicap debut.
Good start in handicaps, making the frame 3 times prior to striking at Stratford (19f) 15 days ago. 5 lb rise unlikely to prevent another prominent showing.
Dual Sedgefield winner in her novice season but no impact in a couple of handicaps this time round. Handicapper relenting but need to see more.
Placed twice for Phil Kirby in spring 2019 but not seen finishing fifth in a handicap at Aintree in May of that year. Market the best guide after absence.
Scored over fences at Southwell on his reappearance but below that form in all 4 starts since, the latest when reverting to hurdles for new yard at Newcastle 10 days ago.
Stepped up on return when landing 2m Hexham handicap chase in September but has merely added to her patchy record with 2 poor runs since. Now back hurdling.
Went close off this mark over 2m here in January, but not at that level in 3 outings this term, his stamina appearing stretched over 21f at Kelso latest. Only slightly shorter trip now.

Universal Folly (9/4), Cremant (9/4), Sidi Ismael (4/1), The Blame Game (10/1), Celtic Flames (12/1), Iolani (18/1), Lord Condi (22/1), Off The Beat (25/1), Fourth Of July (25/1), The Steward (33/1), Pammi (33/1), Dancing Doug (40/1), The Road Home (40/1), Red Reminder (66/1)
There should be more to come from UNIVERSAL FOLLY now making a quick switch to handicaps over a longer trip and he can strike for the Nicky Richards/Brian Hughes combination. Cremant and Sidi Ismael arrive on the back of some good runs in similar company and can give the selection most to think about.
