Fair bumper winner who made it 2 wins from 3 starts over hurdles in a Wincanton novice (21.3f) last month, albeit looking vulnerable when chief rival fell. No easy task under a double penalty.

Robin Des Champs half-brother to useful hurdler Birchdale. Proved easy to back but signs of promise when midfield in a Chepstow maiden last month (bad mistake 2 out) and he remains with potential.

Encouragement both starts in bumpers and plenty of encouragement to derive from Exeter hurdling debut third 3 weeks ago, despite less-than-fluent jumping. Yard in good form and he'll improve.
