Foaled April 29. 270,000 gns yearling, Golden Horn colt. Half-brother to 6f winner Daddys Poppit. Dam, 1m-11f winner, sister to very smart winner up to 1½m Bronze Cannon. One to note in the market.
Once-raced colt. 16/1, seventh of 9 in minor event at Bath (10.2f, good) on debut 40 days ago. Improvement needed.
Foaled April 2. Sea The Stars colt. Half-brother to 8.5f winner Calypso Blue and useful 7f/1m winner Pure Beauty. Of obvious interest on debut.
Lightly-raced colt. Ninth of 10 in nursery at Kempton (8f, 14/1) 7 days ago. Step up in trip should suit but vulnerable to something less exposed.
Once-raced colt. 15/8, second of 17 in maiden at Nottingham (8.3f, soft) on debut 19 days ago, clear of rest. Should improve and a leading player.
Twice-raced colt. 28/1, last of 8 in minor event at Newcastle (8f) 31 days ago. Up in trip. Difficult to make a case for.
Foaled February 16. Golden Horn colt. Half-brother to 1m winner Sailing Home. Dam, 12.5f-14.5f winner, half-sister to useful 1¼m-11f winner Loveisthehigherlaw. Each-way contender on debut.
Foaled April 11. €32,000 yearling, Guiliani filly. Closely related to very smart German 1¼m/10.5f winner Mawingo and half-sister to 3 winners. Makes plenty of appeal on paper.
Foaled March 9. Territories filly. Half-sister to useful 2-y-o 6f winner Story of Light. One to consider given connections on debut.

Forecasts
Orientalism (11/8), Trawlerman (15/8), Daramethos (9/2), Opening Scene (18/1), Bosphorus (20/1), Mickydee (22/1), Moselle Valley (22/1), Cosmic George (50/1), Silver Shade (200/1)
A maiden that wouldn't look out of place at a Group One venue given the connections represented. There are plenty of interesting newcomers but siding with ORIENTALISM, who did little wrong when sent off favourite at Nottingham, looks the best place to start. He should improve and may appreciate this surface. Daramethos and Trawlerman make most appeal of the newcomers.
