Camprond⁴²¹

Age: 4| Weight: 11-8| J: T J O'Brien| T: P Hobbs & J White

9/4

Half-brother to smart hurdler Berjou. Useful on Flat in France in 2019. Very interesting recruit to hurdles. Market support likely significant.

Form:

Close Friend²⁵²

Age: 4| Weight: 11-8| J: James Davies| T: G Brown

100/1

Third on completed start in points in March. Probably best watched on this Rules debut.

Form: P3-

Glory And Honour²⁴

Age: 4| Weight: 11-8| J: J J Burke| T: T Lacey

10/11

First past the post sole start in points and shaped with promise when second in bumper/novice hurdle last month. More to come and likely to be winning soon.

Form: D-22

Methusalar²⁵

Age: 4| Weight: 11-8| J: Thomas Bellamy| T: A King| BF

22/1

Showed ability on the first of 2 bumper starts last month. Hurdle debut.

Form: 45

Pour Joie³⁴⁶

Age: 5| Weight: 11-8| J: R T Dunne| T: Ian Williams| D

50/1

Warwick bumper winner in 2019. Well held in 3 Flat runs later than year but retains potential now hurdling after 11 months off.

Form: 13/

Age: 5| Weight: 11-8| J: David England| T: O Murphy

12/1

Only modest form in 2 bumpers but offered more when second on 2m Fakenham hurdle debut 24 days ago. In good hands so should progress.

Form: 6-82

That's Me¹¹

Age: 6| Weight: 11-8| J: Alan Johns| T: Tim Vaughan

100/1

Signs of ability when midfield in a couple of starts at Hereford in recent weeks but likely more one for handicaps.

Form: 6P/56

The Come Back Dude^t¹⁶

Age: 6| Weight: 11-8| J: Charlie Hammond⁽³⁾| T: Miss C Dyson

250/1

Maiden pointer. 300/1, tailed off on Market Rasen hurdle debut 16 days ago.

Form: 5P/PPP-0

Kentucky Hardboot^t³⁴

Age: 3| Weight: 10-7| J: T Scudamore| T: M Moubarak

9/2

Fair on Flat and translated that ability to hurdling at first attempt when second at Kempton (2m) last month. Prominent showing on cards if in same form.

Form: 2

Forecasts

Glory And Honour (10/11), Camprond (9/4), Kentucky Hardboot (9/2), Rock The House (12/1), Methusalar (22/1), Pour Joie (50/1), That's Me (100/1), Close Friend (100/1), Ace Time (200/1), The Come Back Dude (250/1)

CAMPROND has the potential to do very well over hurdles given the level of his Flat form and is selected to make a winning start, with confidence increased should the betting speak in his favour. Glory And Honour looks the obvious danger ahead of Kempton runner-up Kentucky Hardboot.
