Malystic²³

Age: 6| Weight: 11-1| J: B S Hughes| T: P D Niven| OR: 140

10/11

Fairly useful winning hurdler who shaped well on quick switch to chasing when second to promising Protektorat at Carlisle (2m) on return, jumping better. More to come from him in this sphere.

Form: 0/U122-2

Sir Valentine²²

Age: 7| Weight: 11-1| J: Kielan Woods| T: N & W Twiston-Davies| OR: 133

5/6

Useful novice hurdler, successful in 2m Newbury event and placed in a couple of big handicaps. Mistakes but shaped well all the same on chase debut/return at Cheltenham and should improve.

Form: 12349-2

Forecasts

Sir Valentine (5/6), Malystic (10/11), Connerys Hill (100/1)

Little to split the promising pair of MALYSTIC and Sir Valentine after their promising returns over fences, with Peter Niven's charge narrowly getting the vote in the hope he jumps as well as he did at Carlisle.
