Tractor Fred^t²⁴⁷

13/2

Fair maiden chaser but he hasn't gone on for this yard and was pulled up in 3m handicap chase at Southwell 8 months ago. Has since had wind op so not ruled out if it sparks a resurgence.

Remains a maiden after 23 runs but posted (11/4) good second of 6 in 3m handicap chase at Huntingdon 41 days ago. Collared late on there and has since had breathing op so seems sure to go well again.

11/4

Forecasts

Silent Encore (9/4), Don Herbager (11/4), Hang Tough (10/3), Tractor Fred (13/2), High Up In The Air (15/2), Gars Bar Dine (10/1), Special Buddy (12/1), Gorcombe's Rascal (80/1)

Lots of these have question marks against them so it could pay to side with chasing newcomer HANG TOUGH who showed winning form over hurdles last term and should be spot on here after an encouraging recent return at Ffos Las. Silent Encore has had plenty of chances but is in good form so seems sure to go well along with Gars Bar Dine who has fallen to a tempting mark.
