Myplaceatmidnight²⁶⁹

Age: 8| Weight: 11-12| J: J M Quinlan| T: N B King| OR: 134WS

Rather inconsistent last term and not seen since below-par effort at Ascot 8 months ago. Had wind operation.

Form: F/52528-

Blacko³²

Age: 4| Weight: 11-10| J: Thomas Bellamy| T: A King| OR: 132| D

7/2

Dual winner last season who posted creditable fifth on reappearance at Chepstow (16f, good) 32 days ago. Should be straighter now and is an interesting contender.

Form: 5211P-5

Wild Max^t¹⁸

Age: 5| Weight: 11-10| J: Harry Cobden| T: P F Nicholls| OR: 132| D

2/1

Travelling well when badly hampered 2 out (finished fourth) on return in handicap hurdle at Cheltenham (16.4f, good to soft) 18 days ago. Dropped 1 lb since and must enter calculations.

Form: 114-4

Rowland Ward²⁹⁰

Age: 4| Weight: 11-7| J: C Gethings| T: S Edmunds| OR: 129| D

11/1

Opened account in this sphere at Kempton in December and had every chance when badly hampered at final hurdle at Cheltenham the following month. Remains open to improvement this term.

Form: F15-

Jamacho¹¹

Age: 6| Weight: 11-6| J: Paul O'Brien⁽³⁾| T: C E Longsdon| OR: 128| D

40/1

Resumed in this sphere better than ever, completing his 4-timer in 2m Stratford handicap in September. Limitations likely exposed now, however, and was below form last time.

Form: 111548

Fraser Island³²

Age: 4| Weight: 11-4| J: N de Boinville| T: N J Henderson| OR: 126| D

18/1

Yet to add to Newbury debut success in 5 subsequent attempts and arrives on back of poor effort at Chepstow last month.

Form: 1320-0

Constancio^b²²

Age: 7| Weight: 11-2| J: B S Hughes| T: D McCain Jnr| OR: 124| D

9/1

Posted career best when winning 6-runner handicap hurdle at Plumpton (15.9f, good) 22 days ago. 4 lb rise fair but this is more competitive.

Form: 43-4421

Motueka⁷⁶¹

Age: 8| Weight: 11-1| J: Lewis Stones⁽⁷⁾| T: H James| OR: 123

125/1

Not seen since bagging 9-runner novice hurdle over longer trip at Worcester for Olly Murphy 2 years ago and best watched on return for new connections here.

Form: P12211/

Namib Dancer¹⁶

Age: 6| Weight: 10-12| J: Aidan Coleman| T: Miss E C Lavelle| OR: 120

11/4

Promising type who opened account in convincing fashion at Wincanton (15.3f, good) 16 days ago, quickening clear. Likely more to come now sent handicapping.

Form: 63/226-1

Forecasts

Wild Max (2/1), Namib Dancer (11/4), Blacko (7/2), Constancio (9/1), Rowland Ward (11/1), Myplaceatmidnight (14/1), Fraser Island (18/1), Jamacho (40/1), Motueka (125/1)

Preference is for BLACKO, who should be spot on after his encouraging return at Chepstow last month. Namib Dancer and Wild Max are feared most.
