Karl Philippe³⁴⁰

Age: 5| Weight: 11-7| J: P J Brennan| T: F O'Brien

7/4

Made a winning debut on heavy ground at Hereford last November. Taken a bit of time to get him back but he's open to improvement for a yard which has done really well since the resumption.

Mauritian Bolt²²

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: Sean Quinlan| T: Ruth Jefferson

7/1

7/1, showed plenty to work on when second of 9 on Hexham debut (soft) 22 days ago. Will likely need to step up on that bare form to go one better now, though.

Form: 2

Medaki Roc

Age: 4| Weight: 11-0| J: Nathan Moscrop⁽³⁾| T: B EllisonWS

11/1

€7,500 Shirocco gelding. Dam won bumper sole start. Had a wind op ahead of this debut. Yard does well in bumpers so respected if the market speaks in his favour.

Form:

Onward Route²³²

Age: 6| Weight: 11-0| J: Henry Brooke| T: R Menzies

15/8

Plenty of promise when runner-up in 2 bumpers for Ruth Jefferson in the spring, particularly when pulling clear with a useful prospect at Newcastle latterly. Can go one better on yard debut.

Form: 22-

Warriors Story¹⁷

Age: 4| Weight: 11-0| J: Billy Garritty⁽⁵⁾| T: K Dalgleish

4/1

9/2, ran to a fair level when fourth of 9 in C&D bumper (good) on debut 17 days ago, weakening late on. Could strip fitter with the run behind him.

Form: 4

Forecasts

Karl Philippe (7/4), Onward Route (15/8), Warriors Story (4/1), Geonice (6/1), Mauritian Bolt (7/1), Medaki Roc (11/1), Donna's Diva (80/1)

ONWARD ROUTE ran to a pretty useful level when clear with a very promising sort at Newcastle when last seen in March and is taken to strike on his return for new trainer Rebecca Menzies. Last year's debut winner Karl Philippe is open to improvement and may provide the chief threat unless the betting speaks in the favour of Geonice and/or Medaki Roc.
