Signed off for last term with career-best win in 3m handicap chase at Uttoxeter. Up 8 lb but this greater stamina test will play to his strength so a big player on return if fully tuned up.
Progressing well over fences, scoring at Newcastle and Catterick, until disappointing in handicap at Aintree 19 months ago and not seen out since. Likeable sort who remains with potential though.
Opened his account over fences at Ludlow last December but ended season with tame finish in 3m handicap back there. Still low mileage so not ruled out if freshened up after his break.
Veteran chaser ended last term with wide-margin Kelso win in first-time cheekpieces. Headgear retained but hit with 8 lb rise so needs to hit the ground running on return. Engaged Ayr 2.17 Saturday.
Looked a chaser on the up after back-to-back wins at Market Rasen and Newcastle last winter but pulled up in handicap at Doncaster (26f, heavy) and not seen since. Bit to prove on comeback now.
Made bright start over fences with debut win in 3m Market Rasen handicap before good second in similar event at Chepstow but not seen out again. Back from 11-month absence now but no forlorn hope.
Three-time staying chase winner last season who resumed with eye-catching third in Perth handicap, keeping on late under patient ride. Merits serious consideration dropped a handy 2 lb.
Lightly-raced chaser who (66/1) offered very little on return when last of 8 in 3m handicap chase at Perth. Hard to warm to.
Temperamental chaser who turned in lack-lustre effort after 12 months off when pulled up in handicap over C&D 10 days ago. Cheekpieces back on now but others still appeal more.
Fairly useful 3m winning hurdler who (14/1) made encouraging start over fences when staying-on fourth of 12 in handicap chase at Hexham (20.1f, soft) 22 days ago. In the mix now back up in trip.
Quickly made into fairly useful chaser for Nigel Twiston-Davies but not seen after second in 3m handicap at Wetherby in January. Has more to offer for new yard but 9-month absence tempers enthusiasm.
Well backed but failed to build on reappearance promise when pulled up in 3m handicap chase at Chepstow 23 days ago. Has it to prove now.

Forecasts
Sojourn (11/4), Very First Time (11/4), Dino Boy (6/1), Amateur (7/1), Roll Again (9/1), Sam's Adventure (10/1), The Delray Munky (16/1), Debece (16/1), Late Romantic (33/1), Fortified Bay (40/1), Lough Derg Farmer (40/1), Sutton Manor (80/1)
A case can be made for lots but the most persuasive one is for VERY FIRST TIME who caught the eye at Perth on his return when a tenderly-handled third and can take full advantage of a 2 lb drop in the weights. Sam's Adventure rates a major threat on the form of his Uttoxeter win last spring but his 7-month absence tempers enthusiasm, while The Delray Munky is considered too now back up in trip.
