Evidence suggests he's much better over fences than hurdles but latest third in a C&D novice wasn't devoid of promise and mark is potentially favourable.
Irish point winner who went the wrong way from an encouraging Rules debut for Dan Skelton and has been picked up cheaply by new connections. Makes handicap debut from stiff mark after 11 months off.
Well-bred sort who has shaped with encouragement in a trio of runs in novice hurdles, set too much to do when only eighth at Uttoxeter last time. Opening mark of 106 could prove lenient.
Won at Cartmel early last season but has largely been disappointing since, including on the Flat, so he doesn't make much appeal.
Generally out of sorts last season and unlikely to be fully tuned up back from 10 months off (tongue tie back on), so hard to make a case for.
Fair hurdler who shaped as if he'd returned in top form when fourth at Hexham but failed to build on it at Sedgefield next time. Well treated but hard to predict.
Scored at Hexham last season and signed off with a good second at Sedgefield 8 months ago. Nothing to suggest he's ahead of his mark, though, and liable to need this return.
Opened his account in a novices' handicap at Sedgefield last December. Ended last season out of sorts, though, and no promise over C&D on reappearance.
Winning pointer who opened account over timber at Perth (16.2f) in August and quickly got back on track when third at Kelso last time. Looks vulnerable, though.
Showed her first form when second on 23f Bangor handicap almost a year ago and wasn't disgraced subsequently. Good test at this trip will suit and returns at a time when her yard is thriving.
Losing run dates back to February 2018 and he was out of sorts when last seen 10 months ago. Easily passed over for all he returns on a good mark.

Forecasts
Instant Replay (7/2), Chosen Flame (4/1), Imperial Icon (11/2), Crackdeloust (11/2), Pistol (17/2), Nefyn Point (10/1), Catchmeifyoucan (10/1), Wor Verge (16/1), Zig Zag (22/1), Applaus (25/1), Velkera (80/1)
IMPERIAL ICON is bred to be better than a mark of 106 and his three hurdling outings to date haven't got to the bottom of him, so he's a solid selection to make a winning handicap debut. Catchmeifyoucan returns on a handy mark for a hot stable, so she's another one to consider along with Instant Replay.
