Edebez⁷⁸

Age: 3| Weight: 11-0| J: Daniel Sansom⁽³⁾| T: J W Mullins

Modest form on Flat and hasn't offered hope for any better over hurdles in 2 juvenile events at Newton Abbot this summer.

Form: 46

Jersey Grey¹²

Age: 3| Weight: 11-0| J: Adam Wedge| T: Alexandra Dunn

18/1

Very modest maiden on the Flat for Jamie Osborne and he ran to just a similar level when remote second on recent Chepstow hurdle debut for new yard.

Form: 5

Nevendon⁷⁸

Age: 3| Weight: 11-0| J: Bridget Andrews| T: D Skelton

13/8

Fairly useful form in 3 starts on Flat (stays 1½m) for Michael Bell. Yard got last season's leading juvenile Allmankind from the same source. Very interesting runner.

Form:

Opine²²

Age: 3| Weight: 11-0| J: R P McLernon| T: J & A O'Neill

6/4

Modest maiden on Flat for Michael Bell but set to do better over hurdles based on Huntingdon second 19 days ago, pulling well clear of the rest. Should be winning soon on that evidence.

Form: 2

Pyramid Place^h1²⁵⁸

Age: 3| Weight: 11-0| J: R Johnson| T: M F Harris

11/1

Fair AW maiden on the Flat for John Gosden. Sold for 27,000 gns in August ahead of this switch to hurdles for new yard. Has a hood added.

Form:

Star Of Wells⁹

Age: 3| Weight: 11-0| J: Bryan Carver⁽⁵⁾| T: D Loughnane

6/1

Fair maiden on the Flat. First run since leaving Tom Ward when creditable fourth of 10 in handicap at Wolverhampton (8.6f) 9 days ago. Hurdle debut.

Form:

Forecasts

Opine (6/4), Nevendon (13/8), Star Of Wells (6/1), Pyramid Place (11/1), Jersey Grey (18/1), Edebez (33/1)

OPINE came 19 lengths clear of the third when second on his hurdle debut at the start of the month and is the percentage call, although a strong market move for Dan Skelton's Nevendon would put a slightly different slant on things.
