Dual winner in 2018/19 who only gave best to a patiently-ridden one late on at Doncaster (3m) on final outing in January. Reappears off same mark, so clams in refitted cheekpieces.
Won from 1 lb higher (19f) last spring and went close at Uttoxeter back from a break in July. Held in eight when falling 2 out at Market Rasen latest but this is easier, so must enter calculations.
Front runner who took well to chasing, winning 3 races in the north last season. Out of form this term though, well beaten at Sedgefield 15 days ago, so others preferred despite tumbling mark.
Improved on third start over fences when landing small-field Newcastle handicap in December. Not disgraced either outing subsequently and still has some scope for better. Cheekpieces on for 1st time.
A young chaser on an upward curve last term, opening account in a soundly-run Sedgefield handicap (19.3f) in January. Well below form at Huntingdon final outing but retains potential as a chaser.
Stepped up on recent efforts to end a long losing run in 12-runner handicap at Hexham (20.1f) 20 days ago, kept up to work. Retains handicapping scope but not an obvious type to follow up.
Fairly useful hurdler who has the look of a chaser but was well held on his first go at Leicester, then pulled up at Market Rasen last time. Off 7 months.
Heavy-ground maiden hurdle winner last winter. Well held in Market Rasen handicap hurdle on reappearance but got back on track sent chasing when second in handicap at Hexham (20.1f).
Sixteen runs since last win in 2018, but is now below his last winning mark and fared better when third of 7 in handicap chase at Perth (23.8f) 28 days ago.
Low-mileage 5-y-o who found only one too good on his second chase start at Cartmel in August, but proved a disappointment when pulled up on Hexham next time, possibly amiss.
Winning hurdler/chaser who turned in a lacklustre display after 10 months off when fourth of 8 in handicap chase at Kelso 36 days ago. Should strip fitter for that outing, though.
Won a pair of weak handicaps at Newcastle last season and bounced back to form when third here (15.9f) final outing. Steps back up in trip on return but this is harder.

Forecasts
Victory Echo (9/2), King's Wharf (6/1), Bandsman (13/2), Trongate (7/1), Destin D'Ajonc (8/1), Ettila De Sivola (17/2), Oscar Wilde (10/1), Tokaramore (11/1), Tonto's Spirit (12/1), Tanarpino (14/1), Whateva Next (14/1), Charlie Snow Angel (40/1)
ETTILA DE SIVOLA is a good looker who still has some scope for better as a chaser, so he's given the tentative vote to make a winning reappearance. Oscar Wilde is another young chaser to remain positive about, while Bandsman should find this easier than his latest assignment and also needs considering.
- ETTILA DE SIVOLA (FR)
- OSCAR WILDE (IRE)
- BANDSMAN
