Has returned in the form of his life, rattling off a Uttoxeter hat-trick at up to 26f in recent months, making all to score easily latest. Assessor applies further pressure but not dismissed.
Took this race from a 3 lb lower mark 12 months ago and seemingly found his stamina stretched next 2 starts. Below par at Wincanton in January but returns with yard amongst the winners.
Off the mark at second attempt over fences at Newcastle in December 2018. However, has failed to build on that in 5 subsequent starts and bit to prove back from an 1-month absence. Tongue strap added.
Fairly useful winning chaser at his best but jumping issues never far away with him and he ran a typical race when fourth on return at Warwick (25.5f) in September, making numerous mistakes.
Made a winning return at Hexham (3m) last November and not disgraced next 2 starts. Struggled in stronger contests thereafter, including on back of wind surgery in Midlands National final start.
Useful chaser at best but he was nowhere near his best in handful of starts last term. On the flipside, the assessor has afforded him a chance if a break has had a positive effect.
Did very well over fences last season, winning 4 of 6 starts. Good second at Perth (23.8f) on return but went wrong way from that effort back there 3 weeks ago.
Dual hurdles winner for this yard who left previous chase exploits in his wake (on back of second wind op) when landing a 20f Hexham handicap last month. This tougher but he's open to further progress
Proved better than ever last season, back to winning ways over 20f here in November. Unable to match that from an 8 lb higher mark at Fakenham in February and present mark demands more.
Low-mileage 6-y-o who confirmed promise of his chase debut effort when scoring in good style at Perth (23.8f) in September, a more assured round of jumping the catalyst. Likely more to come.
Dual hurdles winner who finished second over fences at Perth (23.8f) in August and set to play a part in the finish prior to falling late at Hexham (3m) last month. Claims provided jumping holds up.

Cage Of Fear (11/4), Court Dreaming (13/2), Looksnowtlikebrian (7/1), Kings Temptation (7/1), Pop Rockstar (15/2), Empire De Maulde (17/2), Just Your Type (9/1), Polydora (11/1), Bafana Blue (18/1), Pookie Pekan (28/1), I Just Know (33/1)
CAGE OF FEAR confirmed the promise of his chase debut when getting off the mark at Perth last month, his jumping more assured and ultimately allowed to ease down close to the finish. With further progress likely, he earns the vote to follow up. The red-hot Kings Temptation and Court Dreaming head up the dangers, along with Empire de Maulde.
