Cheekpieces on for 1st time, creditable third of 10 in nursery at Ayr (6f, good to soft, 18/1) 25 days ago, faring best of those ridden prominently. Possibilities in this lower-grade affair.
Lightly-raced maiden. First run since leaving John Patrick Murtagh when creditable second of 10 in minor event (22/1) at this C&D 21 days ago, no match for winner. More needed on this nursery debut.
Lightly-raced maiden. 11/2, fifth of 8 in nursery at Pontefract (6f, heavy) 8 days ago. Needs to raise his game a touch.
Fourth of 5 in nursery at Yarmouth (6f, good to firm, 12/1) 26 days ago. Makes tapeta debut and she has claims off this mark judged on efforts at Goodwood and Leicester during the summer.
Winner at Ripon in June. Fifth of 7 in nursery at Leicester (6f, good to firm, 11/1) 64 days ago, merely closing up late. Still early days and she's worth a second look.
Career best when winning 13-runner nursery (11/1) at this C&D 6 days ago, rallying. Needs considering under a penalty.
Twice-raced maiden. 4/1, third of 7 in minor event at Hamilton (5f, good) 15 days ago. Improvement may be forthcoming now that he goes down the nursery route.
Thrice-raced maiden. Fourth of 7 in minor event (100/1) at Musselburgh (5f, soft) 48 days ago. Good deal more needed now that he makes the switch to a nursery.
Lightly-raced maiden. Very good fourth of 16 in nursery (9/2) at Redcar (6f, soft) 20 days ago. Each-way chance if able to build on that now switched to tapeta. Yard also saddles Shesaheart.
Twice-raced maiden. Fifth of 10 in maiden at this course (7.1f, 9/4) 15 days ago. Entirely possible that she'll be seen in a better light on this nursery debut and is one to note in the betting.
100/1, respectable fifth of 12 in nursery at Redcar (7f, good to firm) 28 days ago. Place possibilities if able to build on that here.

Boogie Time (2/1), Pockley (4/1), Fayathaan (15/2), Dutch Light (8/1), Perfect Sign (10/1), Gaelic Secret (12/1), Monza City (12/1), Mr Trevor (12/1), Yorkshire Pirlo (12/1), Forbidden Beauty (20/1), Shesaheart (22/1), Bodak Yellow (25/1), Penombre (50/1)
It's worth chancing BODAK YELLOW, who hasn't shown much on his last 3 starts (all on turf) but it's too soon to forget his debut promise when second at Wolverhampton. On that evidence, this opening mark is a very fair one and the return to this surface may help. Pockley displayed a good attitude over C&D last week and is feared most ahead of likely improvers Gaelic Secret and Dutch Light.
