Successful at Windsor on return in June and held form well since until only fifth of 7 on heavy ground in handicap at Newmarket 8 days ago. Sort to bounce back, though ground is a concern again.

Proved his well being after 2 years off when making a winning return in 12f Chester handicap 30 days ago. Needs to back that up but goes in the mud and remains low mileage.
Multiple 2-y-o winner. Went close in the Italian Derby in July and not disgraced in strong 12f handicaps since, sxith at Newbury latest one. A winner on soft so he's much respected dropped handy 4 lb.
Made up into high-class hurdler over winter but (2/5) disappointed after 7 months off when last in handicap at Haydock (14f) 15 days ago. Remains well treated off this mark so worth another chance.
Winless this season but three times runner-up in 10f handicaps, latest coming here 42 days ago. Goes on soft but stamina is not assured here on first try at 12f.
Won 3 times on the AW over the winter and back on song when fourth of 12 in handicap at Chester (14.4f, good) 14 days ago, faring best of those held up. Has won in the mud so he's shortlisted.
Enjoyed productive 2019, successful at Ripon and over hurdles at Chepstow, but he has looked rusty on return at Chester and Haydock. Should step up on that here.

Forecasts
Goshen (1/1), Natural History (10/3), It's Good To Laugh (6/1), King's Caper (17/2), Speed Company (16/1), Make Haste Slowly (16/1), Hyanna (18/1), Battle Of Marathon (25/1)
All can be given a shout but KING'S CAPER has finally been granted some respite by the assessor so this genuine front runner is taken to get back to winning ways. Goshen proved a big disappointment when last at Haydock on his return but remains well treated so could prove the chief threat, while Natural History is another who could have a say if backing up his Chester win after a long absence.
