Below expectations in a Warwick bumper on debut 9 months ago, but is bred to be a useful jumper and should do better now switching to obstacles for his top yard.

Cost £370,000 after winning his sole point start and showed encouragement amidst greenness when third to Soaring Glory in an Ascot bumper. Went backwards next time but retains potential now hurdling.

Ex-French gelding who showed ability when third in a hurdling newcomers event at Nantes last October. Badly needed the run on Uttoxeter yard debut in February and off since. Hood/tongue tie applied.

€13,000 3-y-o, Arctic Cosmos gelding. Dam unraced half-sister to fairly useful hurdler/very smart chaser (stays 3m) Pairofbrowneyes. One to note on debut for a leading yard.

An exposed and infrequent winner on the Flat who posted a creditable third on his completed start over hurdles at Uttoxeter, but the form is nothing out of the ordinary.

Well-made son of Fame And Glory who showed useful form in bumpers last season, winning first 2 starts before a fine second in Ascot listed event. Excellent hurdling prospect.

Forecasts

Soaring Glory (4/5), Bravemansgame (15/8), Numbers Man (6/1), Allenby (20/1), Kaproyale (33/1), To Be Sure (40/1), Rainbow Jazz (50/1), Fivetotwelve (66/1), World Trip (150/1), Gouet Des Bruyeres (150/1)

Verdict

SOARING GLORY boasts some very strong bumper form and looks one to follow over hurdles this season. He can make a winning start at the main expense of Bravemansgame, who retains potential now going jumping after wind surgery. Allenby and Numbers Man also make some appeal, but it’s very hard to get away from Jonjo O'Neill's promising 5-y-o.
