Age: 10| Weight: 12-4| J: Conor Ring⁽³⁾| T: Evan Williams| OR: 106| D

12/1

Ended last season in good form over fences but is 18 runs without a win and might strip fitter for this first outing in 6 months back over hurdles.

Sign Of War^t²³¹

Age: 6| Weight: 11-12| J: Adam Wedge| T: Evan Williams| OR: 100| BF

5/1

Ended last season in top form, scoring over hurdles/fences, then posting a respectable second over the larger obstacles at Sedgefield 7 months ago. Needs to pick up where he left off.

Form: 465112-

No Quarter Asked^p,t¹²

Age: 5| Weight: 11-9| J: James Bowen| T: P & M Bowen| OR: 97

12/1

Solid efforts in brace of novice hurdles this summer, but has yet to progress in handicaps, finishing tamely when seventh at Market Rasen last time. Others are more appealing.

Form: 68-4257

Kestrel Valley^h,t²²⁵

Age: 6| Weight: 11-7| J: Stan Sheppard| T: M Sheppard| OR: 95

5/1

Back to form with a bang when readily taking advantage of falling mark at Lingfield (23f, heavy) in January. Back on track at Wincanton in March but no sure to be tuned up on first start since.

Form: 9341P3-

Uno Mas⁷^{(ex 7)}

Age: 6| Weight: 11-6| J: Jack Tudor⁽⁵⁾| T: Christian Williams| OR: 87| CD

11/10

Ended a spell in the doldrums with an emphatic success over C&D 7 days ago, readily forging clear in the straight. Should have little trouble following up if the race doesn't come too soon.

Form: 7-96P61

Galtee Mountain²⁰⁸

Age: 5| Weight: 11-5| J: M D Grant| T: P G Murphy| OR: 93

17/2

Landed a gamble off reduced mark in similar event at Warwick on New Year's Eve and signed off that campaign with further success at Fontwell 6 months ago. Could put up another bold bid if ready to go.

Form: 941P31-

Gloi⁸⁰⁵

Age: 9| Weight: 11-4| J: Thomas Bellamy| T: Mrs D A Hamer| OR: 92

66/1

Well held in bumpers/over hurdles and not seen for over 2 years.

Form: 007850/

Orsino⁵⁵

Age: 6| Weight: 10-8| J: S Bowen| T: P & M Bowen| OR: 82

11/1

Yet to offer any promise over hurdles and was below form back on Flat recently, so easy enough to oppose.

Form: P670-59

With Pleasure³⁶

Weight: 11-9| Age: 7

Forecasts

Uno Mas (11/10), Kestrel Valley (5/1), Sign Of War (5/1), Galtee Mountain (17/2), Orsino (11/1), No Quarter Asked (12/1), On The Road (12/1), With Pleasure (14/1), Gloi (66/1)

UNO MAS breezed clear to score over C&D a week ago and still looks thrown in on old form, so he's an obvious choice to follow up in a pretty weak event. Galtee Mountain is his biggest danger ahead of On The Road.
