Modest maiden stayer on the Flat. Not seen for a year and needs to step it up a notch now hurdling on return (some experience of the game in her family).

Dr Massini mare. Sister to useful chaser Mr Medic. Dam 19f hurdle winner at this track. Makes a belated debut but certainly bred for the job.

Won Warwick bumper under this rider on return last month, having the run of the race. Should have a future over obstacles (from the family of Oscar Whisky).

Point winner who showed fair form in bumpers and would have won similar event over hurdles at Newton Abbot last month if standing up, in command when falling last. Can gain compensation.

Poor in bumpers despite attracting support on both occasions and beaten a fair way out sent hurdling at Newton Abbot (race that Misstree Song fell in) 3 weeks ago.

Modest maiden on the Flat for Rae Guest in 2015 and showed little in 2 Newton Abbot maiden hurdles after a long time off in July 2018. Off again since.

Modest form in bumpers this summer. Related to hurdles winners (some temperament in the family) and could do better now tackling obstacles for in-form yard.

Forecasts

Who What When (4/5), Misstree Song (2/1), Jungle Prose (11/1), Waterlefe Getaway (12/1), Aussie Breeze (14/1), Simple Words (14/1), Whoopsey (18/1), Dr Jane (40/1), Sazerak (100/1), Secret Palace (250/1)

Verdict

There had been a few worrying moments with MISSTREE SONG before her last-flight exit at Newton Abbot (had wandered before some jumps), but she'd looked set to win all the same at that point and can gain compensation in a rather thin maiden if none the worse. Who What When is the clear danger after her good Fontwell return. Dr Jane might make her presence felt on her belated debut.
