7/1

Bumper winner who showed ability in pair of novice hurdle runs 8 months apart, albeit looking a bit rusty at Taunton (19f) in March. Type to progress, particularly over 2½m+ this season.

13/2

Fairly useful but temperamental maiden up to 1m on the Flat who has took well to hurdling, hitting the frame in maiden/novice events in recent weeks. Not discounted now handicapping.

Form: 23

18/1

Fair 6f winner on the Flat as a 2-y-o who has showed ability over hurdles, his best effort when third in a Stratford novice (2m) on penultimate start. However, more needed now handicapping.

Form: 0-34

66/1

Hurdles/Flat winner for Richard Newland who has been confined to just 3 starts on the level for this stable, badly hampered when last of 9 at Haydock last month. Others preferred back over hurdles.

Throckley^t²⁸

Age: 9| Weight: 10-10| J: Shane Quinlan| T: Katy Price| OR: 92| D

17/2

Maiden hurdle winner last August but ended 2019 in slightly disappointing fashion. Midfield in trio of starts on Flat/over hurdles so far this season but his mark continues to slide.

Forecasts

Roar (11/4), Peat Moss (3/1), Karakoram (11/2), Hawridge Storm (13/2), Vinnie's Getaway (7/1), Throckley (17/2), Fort De L'Ocean (16/1), St Lawrence Gap (16/1), Brave Jaq (16/1), Our Rodney (18/1), W S Gilbert (25/1), Head High (50/1), Mauricio (66/1)

The sole 3-y-o in the line-up PEAT MOSS looked all about stamina when opening his account in a Plumpton juvenile event 17 days ago and, now he's up and running, may well be able to kick on with his sights set on handicaps. Vinnie's Getaway is a likely improver switched to handicaps and feared, ahead of Roar and Hawridge Storm.
