Fairly useful hurdler who has always appealed as the type to make a better chaser but made little impression when last seen in January and has first run for yard after leaving Paul Nicholls.

Forecasts

Lucky Flight (6/4), Exelerator Express (7/2), Some Reign (5/1), Beat Box (6/1), Tabou Beach Boy (6/1), Jimmy Rabbitte (9/1), Sao (9/1), Cockle Bay (22/1)

Verdict

Several in here making their respective chase/handicap debuts, but preference is for LUCKY FLIGHT, who made his first start over fences a winning one at Perth at the end of August and looks sure to progress and win more races around this trip. Some Reign heads up the dangers having run well when last seen at Kelso back in February, ahead of Rebecca Menzies' new-recruit Sao.

  1. LUCKY FLIGHT (FR)
  2. SOME REIGN (IRE)
  3. SAO (FR)
