Fair maiden on Flat (stays 1m) for Tom Dascombe. Ought to be up to making an impact in a race like this if taking to hurdling.

Modest maiden on the Flat (seems to stay 11f). Similar level when in the frame in a couple of juvenile hurdles for Alan King this summer and now sets out for new trainer Iain Jardine.

Fairly useful on Flat (stays 1½m), successful at Hamilton in July. Appeals as a likely type for juvenile hurdles.

Fair winner on Flat in France (stays 1¼m). Unable to justify market confidence on C&D hurdle debut last month but showed promise in leading for a long way and is likely to improve. Cheekpieces added.

Little form on Flat so doesn't strike as a likely type to make a successful start over hurdles.

Forecasts

Magna Moralia (10/11), Sans Logique (3/1), Kings Creek (9/2), North Point (7/1), Genever Dragon (16/1), Spit It Out (100/1), The Trendy Man (100/1), Douglas Fir (150/1)

Verdict

John Quinn does pretty well with juvenile hurdlers and MAGNA MORALIA certainly appeals as one who could make a mark in this sphere after reaching a decent level on the Flat this summer. Sans Logique was only fourth on his C&D hurdle debut last month but went off at short odds so is evidently thought capable of better and he may provide the main threat ahead of Donald McCain's Genever Dragon.

  1. MAGNA MORALIA (IRE)
  2. SANS LOGIQUE
  3. GENEVER DRAGON (IRE)
