Winner of just one of his 17 starts on the level, and didn't show enough in 3 runs over hurdles last winter to make him of interest off this opening mark.
Winning hurdler/chaser in France, but has struggled on the side of the Channel and showed nothing on debut for new yard back from a 12-month absence at Hexham.
Improved switched to handicaps in this sphere the last twice, runner-up at Stratford prior to exiting 4 out at Perth (travelling well at the time). One to consider.
Little impact in 4 runs over hurdles early last year, but very much of interest on handicap debut in this sphere given his Flat form, including when second at Catterick 11 days ago.
Dual Fontwell winner last summer and made a satisfactory return when fifth at Southwell. Rather disappointing next time, but she's worth another chance on balance.
Showed what he can do when landing a soft-ground Sedgefield handicap last October, but he's not the most reliable of types and not at his best in 2 starts at Perth since returning from a break.
Bagged 2m handicap at Catterick in January, but both subsequent efforts have been tame and his strike rate over hurdles (2-49) tells a story.
Now 10 lb below mark off which he gained breakthrough success at Southwell last June, but hasn't come close to matching that form in 8 subsequent starts.
Remains a maiden following 14 starts overall (11 over hurdles), but wasn't disgraced at Kelso (18.1f, good) recently and each-way claims off 3 lb lower mark here.
Has posted a handful of fair efforts over hurdles, but he's 0-16 in this sphere and probably best watched following more than a year off.

Forecasts
The Navigator (10/11), Radjash (9/2), Musical Stardust (7/1), Sea Art (10/1), Hey Bob (10/1), Sweet Flora (16/1), Island Villa (22/1), Naasik (40/1), Raise Your Shades (40/1), Horst (50/1)
Three-time Flat winner THE NAVIGATOR, who chased home an improver on the level at Catterick recently, is appealing now pitched into a handicap in this sphere off what could easily turn out to be a lenient mark. Radjash is a much-respected main danger on the back of improved displays the last twice and Sweet Flora showed enough at Kelso to suggest that she can make an impact.
