Much improved this season, off the mark in C&D novice hurdle earlier this month, idling late but asserting again near finish. In-form conditional takes over for handicap debut and can go well again.
Good runs to be placed in maiden/novice hurdles last month, doing plenty in front at Fontwell, and makes appeal on this quick switch to handicaps.
Drop to claiming company saw him get back to winning ways at Southwell (20.5f) in July but he's found life tougher back in handicaps there since, again looking awkward last time.
Has some solid form to his name and ran respectably in a couple of Doncaster handicaps last winter. Might benefit from a stiffer test than this, though.
Hurdles winner and landed 2 staying handicap chases for Philip Hobbs late in 2018 but remains with little recent form. Back over hurdles off by far the lowest mark he's ever run off. Headgear back on.
Fair form in bumpers and has done better over hurdles over C&D the last twice fitted with cheekpieces, chasing home The Blame Game. Could progress further now handicapping.
Badly out of sorts under both codes since winning similar contest at Bangor last summer.
Bumper winner who found significant improvement to score twice at Catterick (15.7f) last winter. Looked very rusty back from 6 months off here 4 weeks ago.
Winless since 2018 and no signs of a return to his best form in 2 Hexham handicap hurdles in recent weeks. Has tumbled in the weights at least.
Free-goer without a win since 2018 and disappointing how she's not seen her races out the last twice. Not sure this step back up in trip will suit.
Once again failed to convince over fences here when last seen but had been in good form before that, landing a couple of C&D handicap hurdles. Work to do off mark on return but wouldn't dismiss.
Modest maiden hurdler who returned to form fitted with cheekpieces and well backed when second in C&D conditionals handicap under this rider earlier this month. This is a bit tougher, but same mark.
Poor efforts since his breakthrough success in C&D handicap in February. 1 of 3 runners from yard and work to do.
