Seemingly benefited from the step up in trip when bouncing back with a win at Newton Abbot (25.8f) last time. 7 lb rise fair enough and he'll have every chance if in a similar mood here.

Multiple hurdles winer who has posted creditable efforts over fences here and at Cartmel on her last 2 starts. She's hardly exposed as a chaser and is worthy of consideration.

Fairly useful hunter chaser who couldn't live with Just A Par when returning from an 11-month layoff at Carlisle in March. Absent since and bit to prove back in this sphere.

Largely disappointing since landing an Ascot novice hurdle in 2018, but latest effort when runner-up over 2½m here 16 ago was creditable. Possibilities off the same mark if stamina holds out.

Went close at Taunton in February, but has failed to match that in 3 starts since returning from a break and he's probably worth taking on, despite slipping down the weights.

Hurdles winner who would've been placed but for falling 2 out on last month's chase debut. Made no mistake at Southwell (24.3) next time and 6 lb rise looks manageable.

Largely consistent since switched to fences, respectable third at Catterick (3½m) when last seen in January. However, current mark probably sums him up.

Opened chase account off this mark at Wincanton (2½m) last December. Probably needed reappearance run over hurdles at Fontwell and he's in with a shout.

Winner of a Bangor handicap chase off this mark last spring, but he's not the most reliable of types and was beaten a long way at Doncaster when last seen in January. Cheekpieces refitted.

Ended last season out of sorts and reappearance display at Fontwell wasn't overly inspiring. Best to look elsewhere.

Won twice over fences in 2019, including here, and found just one too strong off this mark at Stratford (22.6f) last month. Needs considering on debut for new yard.

Forecasts

New Quay (5/1), Henrietta Bell (11/2), Gentleman Moore (11/2), Lillington (13/2), Mrs Miggins (7/1), Kilbrew Boy (17/2), Sir Jack Yeats (10/1), Stockburn (10/1), Lord Bryan (16/1), Follow The Swallow (22/1), Ecossais (25/1), Chase The Wind (33/1)

Verdict

This looks wide open and a chance is taken on HENRIETTA BELL, who was beaten just over a length when third at Cartmel last month, despite some sketchy jumping. She is appealing back here (hurdles winner at this course) off the same mark and with the forecast quicker ground in her favour. Lillington resumed winning ways last time and he has to be feared, along with Kilbrew Boy and Mrs Miggins.

  1. HENRIETTA BELL (IRE)
  2. LILLINGTON (IRE)
  3. KILBREW BOY (IRE)
