Group 1 Futurity winner at 2 and found another jolt of improvement to win 2000 Guineas over C&D on return. Excuses over an array of trips since and big chance of resuming winning ways despite penalty.
Capable of high-class form, as shown when running away with this last season after 11 months off. Won 2 of 3 starts in the Middle East early in the year and the one to beat again.
Won Brigadier Gerard and third in Eclipse when at peak last term. Responded well to this headgear when impressive winner of Sovereign Stakes at Salisbury last month and soft ground against him since.
Lightly raced but very progressive, taking form to another level when game winner of Group 3 at Haydock in the mud 3 weeks ago. Saw off some progressive types that day and shouldn't be far away.
Very smart performer at best, but now a 7-y-o and left the impression he isn't quite the force of old when fourth in the Strensall Stakes at York last time. Others are preferred.
Imposing type who has come a long way in a short time, showing smart form up significantly in class when impressive winner of Group 3 at Goodwood. Likely has more to offer so needs considering.

Forecasts
Benbatl (7/4), Kameko (85/40), Top Rank (9/2), Regal Reality (17/2), Tilsit (10/1), Urban Icon (14/1), Duke Of Hazzard (16/1), Zabeel Prince (18/1)
BENBATL was most impressive in this race last year and is very much the one to beat again. He will appreciate the return to turf and his record when fresh is excellent, so there's plenty to like about his chances. Kameko is back at the scene of his 2000 Guineas win and rates the biggest threat despite a 5 lb penalty, though Tilsit has come a long way in a short time so can't be underestimated.
