Good North American pedigree and she made the perfect start in similar event at Wolverhampton (7.2f, 8/1) earlier this month, nosing in front late. Should improve and leading claims.

25/1, little impression but not given at all a hard time in 6f Windsor novice on debut 3 weeks ago. Looks one for the longer term.

Has shown a bit in 7f/1m events at Lingfield and Salisbury and could do better when going handicapping. Hood tried here.

Modest form in 6f/1m events, second on debut at Salisbury. Buick takes over and he should be up to winning something.

Foaled March 5. Motivator filly. Dam once-raced half-sister to smart 1½m winner Pollara. No surprise to see a big run on debut and a market move should be noted.

12/1, well held on debut at Chelmsford (1m) 22 days ago, offering little. Yard knows the smart family well but she'll need to do a lot better.

Forecasts

Haajoos (4/9), Mirage Mac (5/1), This Ones For Fred (17/2), Dark Motive (12/1), Scoop (16/1), Rewired (25/1), Lisdarragh (33/1), Parish Academy (80/1), Vivid Imagination (200/1)

Verdict

MIRAGE MAC hails from a yard whose juveniles have generally taken a sizeable step forward from their first to second runs this year, so the fact she made a winning debut at Wolverhampton bodes very well, and she looks up to defying a penalty if proving as good on turf. Haajoos made a promising start at Kempton and seems sure to improve also. Dark Motive is an interesting newcomer.
