So You Think gelding. Half-brother to fairly useful 2m hurdle winner True Romance. Dam 1m Flat winner. A rare runner up here for a top yard with an excellent bumper record. Likely tough to beat.
Tikkanen gelding. Half-brother to useful chaser Tutchec and fair chaser Whin Park. Brian Hughes booked for a stable which enjoys the odd bit of bumper success.
€17,000 Getaway gelding. Brother to point winner. Interesting given that Richard Johnson was successful on his sole previous bumper ride for this stable in the last 5 seasons.
And Beyond gelding. Dam lightly-raced maiden hurdler. Would be a surprise winner on debut.
Cloudings gelding. Dam French 21f chase winner.
£50,000 Yeats gelding. Closely related to fairly useful 2½m hurdle winner Oscar Robertson. Makes some paper appeal and worth keeping an eye on in the betting.
Burwaaz filly. Dam (c80/h76) maiden jumper. Watching brief advised on debut.
Forecasts
Balmuick (4/6), Get On John (10/3), Cochisee (7/1), Spider Pig (15/2), Sneaker (40/1), Wooska (80/1), Mr Jv (125/1)
Nicky Henderson has an excellent bumper record and BALMUICK will likely take a bit of stopping on debut, with confidence increased should the market speak strongly in his favour. The booking of Richard Johnson for Get On John catches the eye and he may provide the main threat ahead of Ben Haslam's Spider Pig.
