Scored twice at Wolverhampton late last year and run with credit both starts in handicaps on turf this summer, albeit looking worthy of this step up in trip when fourth at Haydock (1m) latest.
Three-time winner (at up to 1m) last summer who arrives on the back of some creditable efforts, albeit not looking a winner in waiting at Goodwood (9f) last time. Mark steadily easing at least.
Cambridgeshire winner in 2017 and landed two listed events for Ralph Beckett following 2 seasons. However, he's been well below his best in handful of starts for present stable in recent months.
From an excellent family and shaped promisingly both starts in novice events on turf/AW at up to 12f in recent months. Cheekpieces applied for handicap debut and worth considering.
Southwell novice winner (7f) last October who has resumed progress this summer, runner-up on Haydock return and back to winning ways at Wolverhampton (9.5f) last month. Type to go on improving.
Nottingham maiden winner (8.3f) in November who left return at listed level in her wake when second in a Newmarket minor event (10f) 2 weeks ago. Interesting now handicapping.
Improved when bagging back-to-back fast-ground Windsor handicaps last term prior to bombing out under testing conditions at Epsom. Too free on C&D return last month and this will reveal more.
Well found in the market when resuming winning ways over C&D in July, capitalising on the drop in grade. Not seen to best effect back here since but revised mark does demand more in any case.
Proved more straightforward than previously when forging clear to land a C&D event 3 weeks ago. Rider's claim off sets chunk of his weight rise and he's clearly in rude health at present.
Ran up to recent best when runner-up over 1m here 2 starts back but below that level back on AW at Kempton (1m) 7 days ago. All victories gained at 1m.
Off the mark in comfortable fashion at Lingfield and runner-up on Windsor handicap bow (10f) in June. However, he's turned in a couple of underwhelming efforts since and may be worth a try in headgear
Good second in Kempton maiden in October. May have needed the run on return at Chepstow and this colt is open to improvement now upped in trip for this handicap debut.
Fair handicapper who ran respectably when fifth in a 10f Doncaster handicap last month, headway over 1f out but proving one paced. 2 lb lower now and not discounted for each-way purposes.
Got back on track returned to all-weather and may have finished closer still had he not been so keen early on then 2.5 lengths third at Chelmsford (10f) 2 weeks ago. Now he needs to back that up.
Forecasts
Dubai Welcome (5/2), Andaleep (7/2), Moonlight In Paris (13/2), Alfred Boucher (17/2), The Met (9/1), Tafish (9/1), Geranium (12/1), Orczy (20/1), Tahitian Prince (22/1), Delicate Kiss (33/1), Toronado Queen (33/1), Culture (33/1), Top Drop (40/1), Dolphin Vista (66/1)
This may go to one of the 3-y-os with MOONLIGHT IN PARIS narrowly given the vote. John Gosden's filly found listed level too much on her return but was quickly back on track in a Newmarket minor event last month and she promises to go close again now her sights are set on handicaps. This is understandably competitive though, the dangers headed up by Tahitian Prince, Dubai Welcome and Tafish.
- MOONLIGHT IN PARIS (IRE)
- TAHITIAN PRINCE (FR)
- DUBAI WELCOME
