Useful hurdler who matched that level when rattling off a novice chase hat-trick at around 2m last summer. As good as ever upon returning over timber of late and respected returned to chasing.
Progressed well last summer, scoring at Uttoxeter and Southwell. Fell at Cheltenham Festival in March and likely he'll strip fitter for his return effort in the Summer Plate in July.
Chase/hurdles winner upon joining this yard during 2019/20 season and he arrives here on the back of a good second in a C&D event last month. Should go well again.
Quickly made into a useful chaser last season and good in-frame efforts upon returning in July. However, bounce back called for on the back of below par display at Southwell latest.
Front runner who took well to chasing, winning 3 races in the north last season. Disappointing of late though, running a moody race faced with competition for the lead at Cartmel last time.
Quirky sort who shaped encouragingly when third on return at Uttoxeter and confirmed promise of that run when back to winning ways at Southwel (15.8f) last month. Respected.
Winning hurdler/chaser for Jim Goldie who failed to make an impact either start for Gordon Elliott (reportedly bled final start). Market should guide having changed hands again.
Low-mileage, versatile sort who added pair of Flat wins to his hurdle/chase victories this summer. Remains unexposed over fences and likely he has more to offer moving forward.
Well handicapped judged on 2018 form (successful off 14 lb higher mark at Southwell in August of that year). Looked rusty on back of an absence over C&D last month and this should reveal more.
Forecasts
Oleg (6/4), Caius Marcius (9/2), Cracking Destiny (7/1), Royal Village (15/2), Get Out The Gate (10/1), Solar Impulse (11/1), Tidal Watch (12/1), Voix D'Eau (16/1), Tonto's Spirit (28/1)
A winner from a 6 lb lower mark over fences, OLEG clearly wasn't 100% when beaten at short odds at Kempton last autumn. Progressive on the level subsequently, he's worth chancing to get back on the up over the longest trip he's faced in this sphere. Cracking Destiny and Caius Marcius are others fancied to feature, along with Solar Impulse.
