Had a fine 2019 and successful again at Hamilton (8.3f) in July (awarded race when Hortzadar rider weighed in light). Respectable efforts twice since but the draw could have been kinder to him here.
Lightly-raced sort who was suited by the drop back to 1m when landing 11-runner Newmarket handicap last month. That form looks solid enough and a 4 lb rise may not stop him with improvement likely.
Useful ex-Irish winner who has posted some good efforts for new yard without reaching frame, fading late on into sixth after cutting out the running for a long way in big-field York handicap latest.
C&D winner. Five wins from 19 Flat runs. Got his head back in front at Chelmsford (1¼m) in February but off since finishing down the field at Wolverhampton (9.5f) the following month. Drawn widest.
Reliable sort who seems to be getting better, pulling out a bit more to shade a tight finish at Haydock (7f, good to firm) 4 weeks ago. Only nudged up another 2 lb so should remain very competitive.
Veteran who is on a very long losing run. Plenty of respectable efforts this term but suspicion he'll find the odd one too strong again.
25/1, respectable sixth of 12 in handicap at Chester (7.6f, good to soft) 15 days ago, left poorly placed. Now 3 lb lower than when successful at Ayr last summer and another who can't be ruled out.
5/2, respectable third of 10 in handicap at Beverley (7.4f, firm) 23 days ago, keeping on from off the pace.
Latest win at Newcastle in March. 7¾ lengths ninth of 10 to Tangled in handicap at Beverley (7.4f, good, 7/1) 49 days ago. Others more persuasive.
Best effort this term when fourth of 10 in handicap at Beverley (8.4f, good) 35 days ago but will need to step up a little again if he's to resume winning ways here.
Useful effort to make winning handicap debut at Haydock (1m) on return in June. Can't have been right when well-held sixth back there since and he remains a horse of potential for yard going well.
Improved on recent efforts on only second run for new yard to win 10-runner C&D handicap in July but disappointed at York 3 weeks later.
Dual Beverley winner this summer. Shaped as if still in good form when faring best of those held up at York in July. Another who can't be discounted.
Shaped well when second of 8 on 1m Redcar return 6 days ago, having to wait for a gap before running on well. Second run inside a week after absence always a worry but big player if in same form.
Got on a roll for Ruth Carr last term (won 5 times, including over C&D) but she's yet to fire this season.

Shelir (7/2), Archaeology (9/2), Arch Moon (9/2), Ghaly (11/2), So Beloved (14/1), Byron's Choice (14/1), Tangled (16/1), Northernpowerhouse (16/1), Redarna (16/1), Silver Dust (20/1), Kylie Rules (22/1), Furzig (25/1), Club Wexford (25/1), Dawaaleeb (28/1), King's Pavilion (33/1), Swiss Knight (40/1)
A useful and competitive handicap. GHALY wasted no time getting back on the up when returned to 1m at Newmarket last time and should have even more to offer so a 4 lb rise may not stop him following up from a handy draw near the rail. Arch Moon can probably be forgiven his latest run and could easily show he's still a handicapper on the up here. Shelir and Archaeology are also much respected.
