Likeable veteran who retains plenty of enthusiasm/ability judged on last month's Uttoxeter Summer Cup Handicap third. Mark unchanged though and some effort if he won this off 11-12. Has had a wind op.
Rarely out of the money for the last 2 years and saw the extended 3m out well when making a winning return at Southwell last month, coming clear with a bit in hand. Big shout again up 4 lb.
Poor run back over fences behind Imada at Bangor but has a fair shout on the pick of last season's efforts, which include a ready C&D win and a narrow defeat in a listed Wincanton contest.
Having only his fifth start over fences when scoring impressively on his comeback at Bangor in a similar 3m handicap last month, jumping well overall. Previous course winner and one to keep on side.
A regular here and has a good record. Creditable 8 lengths third behind Boy's On Tour 19 days ago and 2 lb drop and reappearance of Danny McMenamin in the saddle will help his cause. Don't dismiss.
Landed a C&D handicap chase off 4 lb higher in April 2019 but temperamental side has resurfaced this season and he laboured badly behind Boy's On Tour last time.
Back to form with a bang after a wind op when winning 20f handicap chase here last month from Boy's On Tour. Revised mark to contend with but he certainly won't fail for stamina.
Hasn't finished out of the first two on his completed starts over fences here and landed 20f handicap in good style 19 days ago. Now has stamina to prove for this longer trip off career-high mark.
Returned with good efforts at Market Rasen and Stratford before a rare jumping lapse let him down back at the former track when supported last time. Cheekpieces go on and potentially well handicapped.
A while since his last win, and though he's been running respectably over hurdles this looks too tough.
Forecasts
Imada (3/1), As You Like (11/2), Soupy Soups (13/2), More Buck's (15/2), Red Giant (17/2), The Young Master (9/1), Amalfi Doug (10/1), Boy's On Tour (10/1), Fortunes Hiding (12/1), Trongate (25/1)
IMADA is a lightly-raced chaser who returned with a bang when drawing clear to win at Bangor last month. Successful on his last visit to this track also, he could be able to defy a 14 lb rise. As You Like is rarely out of the money and he too made a winning return at Southwell. Another big run looks assured from him, while More Buck's is a C&D winner lurking on a very good mark.
