Well found in the betting when landing 6f events at Leicester and Newbury first 2 starts and not beaten far in the Princess Margaret at Ascot last time, leaving the impression this 7f would suit.

Pomelo⁴¹

Age: 2| Weight: 9-0| J: Harry Bentley| T: R M Beckett| D

5/4

Out of a Group 1 winning mare and looked potentially something out of the ordinary herself as she made a winning debut at Newbury (6/5, 7f) last month, forging clear under hand riding. Exciting.

Prado⁴⁹

13/2

Overcame inexperience to make a winning debut in comfortable fashion in strongly-run event at Salisbury (7f, good to firm, 12/1) last month. Ryan Moore up now and she's open to improvement.

Seattle Rock²¹

12/1

Fairly useful maiden who was placed again pitched in deep in the Sweet Solera at Newmarket 3 weeks ago, looking more straightforward upped to 7f under this rider. Clearly has a race in her.

Much improved upped to 7f when winning Newmarket nursery (firm) 3 weeks ago, keeping on well. More needed again up in class but very much going the right way.

Forecasts

Pomelo (5/4), Isabella Giles (11/4), Happy Romance (3/1), Thank You Next (11/2), Prado (13/2), Seattle Rock (12/1)

POMELO rates a cracking prospect after her deeply-impressive debut success at Newbury and she can take this step up in class in her stride. Happy Romance sets a good standard on last week's York win and looks set for another big run up in trip. Isabella Giles makes up the three, though none of the field can be totally dismissed.
