Form: 847

(1)

Get Noticed⁸

Age: 2| Weight: 9-7| J: M A Enright| T: A Fogarty| OR: 74

16/1

Showed promise when third in 7f Galway maiden but well below that level when seventh of 10 in maiden at Leopardstown on heavy 8 days ago. Makes handicap debut off stiff mark so others appeal more.

Form: 937

(7)

Shambara²¹

Age: 2| Weight: 9-7| J: D E Sheehy⁽⁵⁾| T: J P Murtagh| OR: 74| BF

4/1

Has progressed with each of her three runs, sixth of 12 in maiden (11/4) at Sligo (5.7f) 21 days ago. This step up in trip will suit now handicapping so well worth considering.

Form: 656

(2)

Star Image²⁷

Age: 2| Weight: 9-7| J: Gavin Ryan⁽³⁾| T: T Mullins| OR: 74

17/2

Modest form shown in three 7f maidens, fifth of 10 at Galway on soft (9/1) last time. Into nurseries now but opening mark demands a big step forward.

Form: 965

(5)

Abogados^p¹⁵

Age: 2| Weight: 9-6| J: Colin Keane| T: E J O'Grady| OR: 73

7/1

Fair maiden who had cheekpieces fitted when respectable eighth of 18 at Leopardstown (7f, 16/1) 15 days ago. Headgear retained so respected on handicap bow.

Form: 0258

(6)

Omakase⁸

Age: 2| Weight: 9-5| J: Mikey Sheehy⁽⁷⁾| T: J P O'Brien| OR: 72

7/4

Has been brought along steadily, and caught eye when tenderly-handled third of 10 in maiden at Leopardstown (7.1f, heavy) 8 days ago, nearest finish. Most interesting handicap debutant.

Form: 743

(4)

Verbal Fencing⁷

Age: 2| Weight: 9-2| J: K J Manning| T: J S Bolger| OR: 69

6/1

Yet to make the frame in four starts but shaped well on nursery bow when running-on sixth of 9 at Killarney (8.2f, heavy) 7 days ago. Has more to offer so firmly in the mix.

Form: 0666

Forecasts

Omakase (7/4), Shambara (4/1), Verbal Fencing (6/1), Abogados (7/1), Cursory Exam (15/2), Star Image (17/2), Get Noticed (16/1)

OMAKASE is fancied to take a big step forward now she goes into nurseries after a promising Leopardstown third so is the one to focus on here. Verbal Fencing also has better days ahead of her so could be the one to chase her home, although Shambara is another to consider with this step up in trip expected to show her in a better light.
