Fairly useful stayer on Flat who made a successful hurdles debut at Uttoxeter. Failed to progress back there last time, but well worth another chance now faced with a stiffer test. Tongue strap on.
Fair form in bumpers last season, but debut effort in this sphere at Southwell (15.8f) was uninspiring, to put it mildly. Now tried in cheekpieces.
Fairly useful Flat winner who stepped up on previous hurdles efforts when second in first-time cheekpieces on debut for new yard at Bangor (19.6f) last month. The one to beat on that evidence.
Little impact in half-a-dozen starts between the flags and best watched on Rules debut.
Useful form in staying handicaps on Flat for Richard Fahey in 2018. Below par in limited appearances for present connections, but will be a danger to all if galvanised by this switch to hurdles.
Fair in bumpers (runner-up twice) and shaped a bit better than the result when fifth on Musselburgh hurdles debut last November. However, pulled up at Catterick since and 6-month absence to overcome.

Timoshenko was rather disappointing at Uttoxeter, but may well improve for this step up in trip and is next on the list, despite his penalty. One-time useful Flat performer Northwest Frontier is most interesting of the rest.
