Showed ability over hurdles last year and left chase debut form well behind when scoring with plenty in hand on return at Perth (2m). Only gone up 4 lb for that and there should be better to come.
Fair bumper winner for Paul George and, though 0-7 over hurdles for Grace Harris last year, he caught the eye when third on return/chase debut for new connections at Stratford (17f). Major player.
Best effort yet when fifth of 14 in 2m handicap hurdle on second start for this yard a fortnight ago. However, more needed now switched to the larger obstacles.
Form over hurdles was modest but this winning pointer has hit the crossbar on 2 of his 3 starts since switched to fences, including over C&D earlier this month. Cheekpieces applied.
Hurdles winner last May and didn't shape at all badly on return/chase debut at Bangor. However, failed to build on that next time and, though 3 lb lower now, she's probably worth taking on.
Little impact in half-a-dozen starts over hurdles but made a positive start over fences when second at Newton Abbot (21f) this month. Drop back in trip looks a good move and he's not short of appeal.
Failed to complete all 5 starts between the flags and 3 non-completions from 6 runs in this sphere (well held on each occasion that he has got round). Readily passed over on debut for new yard.

This looks a stronger race than the one LAKE BAIKAL landed at Perth last month, but a 4 lb rise almost certainly underestimates him. Indeed, this lightly-raced 6-y-o possesses plenty of scope for further improvement and he is taken to follow up. Simon The Great made an eye-catching start to his chase career when third at Stratford and he is next on the list ahead of Giga White and Court Jurado.
