In great nick when winning 4 times in first half of last season. Run of good form came to abrupt halt at Cheltenham but he shaped quite well on last month's Southwell reappearance.
Enjoyed a productive summer in 2019 and was back in top form when making all at Doncaster in January. Picked up where he left off over C&D last month and he's a tough nut to crack.
Progressive in spring/summer 2019 but lost his way during the winter and was never going well on last month's reappearance. Lots to prove.
Useful chaser for this yard in 2018. Little impact in Ireland for Aidan Anthony Howard but he did at least hint at a revival under a considerate ride at Market Rasen last month.
Useful winning chaser in 2018 but very lightly raced in recent times and hard to know how much ability he retains. Tongue tie fitted.
Down to an attractive mark and proved his well-being with a winning return in a novice hurdle at Bangor. Saw the rest off readily when runner-up to Western Miller over C&D.
Useful hurdler/chaser who did too much too soon at Kempton on final start last season and returned in top form when third in the Summer Plate last month. Same mark here.
Fairly useful chaser who didn't need to improve to score at Doncaster in November 2018. Off the track 20 months after but allowed to race from same mark and finished second at Southwell.

A good-quality handicap, with the vote going to WESTERN MILLER who has transformed himself into a very likeable front-running chaser in the last year or so. Solomon Grey finished third in the Summer Plate from this mark last month so has to be feared, with Mercian Prince, behind the selection over C&D last time, completing the shortlist.
