Fair winning hurdler but looked rusty after 8 months off when (tongue strap on) eighth of 11 in handicap hurdle at Bangor (19.6f, good) 36 days ago. Needs to step forward now.
Twelve runs since last win in 2018, and ended last season well below form. Off 6 months and others more persuasive.

Ex-Irish hurdler who failed to go on after promising second on debut in 3m Wexford maiden last June. Lots to prove on yard debut after 5 months off.
Landed 2m Ludlow handicap last October but only ninth of 13 in similar event at Hereford after and not seen out since. Off 9 months with something to prove.
Unreliable sort who is now twelve runs without a win but he wasn't disgraced on return when fifth of 7 in handicap (28/1) at Market Rasen (20.6f). Course winner too so one for the shortlist.

Not so competitive as the numbers suggest and RED ROYALIST, a dual winner over timber last year, is fancied to add another success after enjoying a fine recent spell on the Flat. Petit Palais is weighted to have a big say if backing up his good reappearance effort here, while Story Of Friends is another who can make his presence felt.
