C&D winner. 9/1, well-held third of 5 in handicap chase at Newton Abbot (26f, good) on reappearance 24 days ago. Ought to be sharper with that behind him.
Not straightforward but took advantage of drop in the weights when winning 3m Market Rasen handicap last summer. Returned with a creditable second there last month and ought to be competitive again.
Dual chase winner in 2019. Didn't look an easy ride at Wincanton when last seen in March but has dropped back to a winning mark ahead of this reappearance.
Successful in Huntingdon handicap in February and also runner-up on 3 other occasions last winter. Ran poorly back at Huntingdon but could bounce back after a break.
Dual Market Rasen winner in early-2019. Shaped as if he's returned in decent form when third of 6 there last month but remains above those successful marks.
Progressive over fences in 2017, winning 3 times, but pulled up on return from long absence at Bangor last month. Something to prove after that.
A winner in France over hurdles last November and also successful twice over fences in Britain in late-2018. Not disgraced on hurdle return last month and interesting off his reduced mark.
Landed a veterans' chase at Huntingdon last autumn but remote fourth on UJttoxeter reappearance last month and blotted his copybook by running out at Southwell since.
Unreliable type but di shape as if better for run when well-held fourth on Perth reappearance, weakening after 2 out.
Forecasts
Rizzardo (7/2), Eureu Du Boulay (9/2), Compadre (5/1), Barbrook Star (5/1), Vice Et Vertu (5/1), Aubusson (7/1), Miami Present (20/1), Fr Humphrey (25/1), Quick Brew (33/1)
EUREU DU BOULAY is back to the sort of mark he made hay from over fences at the end of 2018 so is worth siding with to build on a reasonable reappearance run over hurdles. Vice Et Vertu certainly isn't one for maximum faith but he did run well on his reappearance, while Barbrook Star is another with quirks but does return off a winning mark.

- VICE ET VERTU (FR)
