Romped home in bet365 Gold Cup in 2018 but struggled off revised mark following season, best effort when remote third in 2019 renewal. Off 15 months.
Made a good start over fences last season, winning 3 times. Badly hampered in Summer Plate here on return and quickly back on track when runner-up at Bangor. Looks set for another solid campaign.
Much improved for switch to fences last summer, rattling off Stratford hat-trick. However, struggled next 2 starts 5 months apart so bit to prove.
Race rather fell apart when adding to tally at Kempton last May. Remained in good form after but still 5 lb above last winning mark.
Won first 3 handicap hurdles last year. Made a successful chase bow at Southwell last summer and nothing wrong with a brace of third-place finishes since. Remains unexposed over fences. Off 8 months.
Made encouraging start over fences when fourth at Huntingdon. Failed to complete next 2 starts but firmly back on track to win over C&D with plenty in hand last month and can defy a 9 lb rise.
Winner here last season but struggled for consistency, well held in Summer Plate here last month.
Not easiest to catch right but was a good fourth of 17 in Summer Plate here on return and respectable third at Stratford 10 days ago. Potentially well handicapped.

EL PRESENTE confirmed the promise of his chase debut at the third attempt when an easy winner over this C&D on return last month and may still be ahead of the handicapper despite a 9 lb rise. Potterman looks set for another solid campaign after his second at Bangor, while More Buck's is lurking on a dangerous mark.
