Form of AW maiden he won on debut hasn't worked out particularly well and limitations exposed subsequently in Group/listed company.

Superb pedigree and price tag to match (fetched 3,100,000 gns as a yearling). Narrow winner of 7f Newmarket maiden on debut and possesses plenty of scope for improvement. Holds Group-race entries.

200,000 gns Frankel colt who got on top close home when making a winning start to his career at Salisbury (7f). That form has taken knocks since, but he's promising nonetheless.

Attracted support ahead of Ascot debut (7f) and duly delivered, quickening in good style to account for his 9 rivals. Up in class now, but he's not short of potential and is evidently well-regarded.

Confirmed debut promise when landing a Redcar maiden in June. Progressed again when fourth in Newmarket Group 2 the following month, but latest effort in this grade at Ascot was a tad disappointing.

Made it third time lucky with a stylish performance at Haydock (7f, good to soft) in July. Conditions perhaps too lively in Goodwood nursery since and claims if the forecast rain arrives.

Forecasts

Dhahabi (6/5), Guru (5/2), Jumby (9/2), Francesco Guardi (5/1), Saint Lawrence (11/2), William Bligh (13/2), Choritzo (66/1)

Verdict

Several of these possess potential, but blue-blooded duo GURU and Dhahabi are particularly exciting prospects. The former pulled clear of the rest with another potentially smart type when making a winning C&D debut and is marginally preferred to the Godolphin colt. Jumby looked good at Ascot and shouldn't be underestimated, while William Bligh will be a threat if the ground is on the easy side.
