Rattled off a quick-fire hat-trick last summer and back to winning ways at Windsor (5f) on penultimate start in July. Solid third at that venue has followed and respected in this groove.
Ended 2019 with a pair of 5f AW victories upon joining present stable. Suspicion we've not seen the best of him so far this year, caught on the flank at Musselburgh latest. Mark has eased.
Rather in-and-out last season but ran well after wind surgery when third of 12 in a C&D handicap on return in June. However, both outings subsequently have to go down as disappointing.
Thriving earlier in the year, winning 3 times at Newcastle. Better for return when fourth at Haydock (5f) in June, confirming himself as good on turf as AW. Yet, present mark demands more.
Veteran who ran best race for some time when second at Musselburgh (5f) in July. Not disgraced when fifth at Thirsk (5f) since (missed break) but his losing run is mounting up.
Progressive in handicaps last term and left reappearance effort in her wake when landing a 7-runner affair at Yarmouth (5f) last month. This tougher but she's only 2 lb higher.
Best effort upon joining present stable when second in a C&D handicap in June. Far from disgraced in a couple of competitive 6f events since and the return to 5f worth exploring.
Dual 5f handicap winner this year, recording a career best at Haydock in June, coming through late. Essentially gave his running in defeat since, and this easier than his latest assignment.
Snapped losing run at Newmarket (5f) in June and clearly on good terms with himself judged on his ½-length second at Beverley (5f) on Wednesday. No surprise to see him thereabouts again.
Progressed at a rate of knots during second half of 2019, rattling off a hat-trick at Redcar (5f) in October. Those victories largely came on easy ground and well held on return at Ripon 9 days ago.
Built on an encouraging reappearance spin when ½-length winner at Thirsk (5f) 17 days ago, breaking well and never really looking like being caught. Remains with handicapping scope on old form.
Better than ever when scoring at Lingfield (5f) in February, but has struggled since and needs to bounce back in a first-time tongue strap here. Engaged 3.40 Chester Friday.
Multiple AW winner who capitalised on much-reduced turf mark at Pontefract (5f) last month, coming clear with a well-punted favourite. Too keen at Haydock since but each-way claims nevertheless.

THEGREATESTSHOWMAN arrives on the back of a couple of solid efforts on turf in recent weeks, feasible to think he may have emerged victorious but for an interrupted passage when third at Yarmouth 18 days ago. This is a stronger contest, yet he's clearly in rude health and earns the vote. North Wind, Line of Reason and Jonah Jones are others expected to feature.
