Completed the hat-trick when providing Saffie Osborne with her first winner at Windsor (6f, good) recently. Stall 7 not ideal, but he's clearly progressive and is feared on this nursery debut.

Left low-key debut well behind when narrowly landing a 6f Redcar novice in June. Not disgraced when third at Windsor (6f, good to firm) since, but more needed now pitched into a nursery.

Looked all about speed when registering a 5-length debut success at Lingfield (5f, AW) in June. Little impact in Group 2/listed company since, but sights lowered here and she needs considering.

Placed in Hamilton maidens on first 2 starts and runner-up on nursery debut at York (6f, good to firm) last time. Should give another good account, albeit without being quite good enough.

Has shown ability in a couple of minor events at York and improvement should be forthcoming now switched to a nursery off what may prove to be a fair opening mark. Definite chance.

Newmarket debut was rather inauspicious, but subsequently acquitted himself well at Windsor and Chepstow. May come on again now trying his hand in a nursery, but more is certainly needed.

Showed plenty of early dash when making all on nursery debut in first-time cheekpieces here (5.1f, good to firm) on Monday. Step back up to this trip may not be ideal, though.

Forecasts

Merry Secret (3/1), Gumdrop (7/2), Bergerac (4/1), Cuban Breeze (9/2), London Palladium (17/2), Hot Scoop (9/1), Sands Of Time (16/1)

Verdict

The vote goes to GUMDROP, who again shaped with promise at York last time and he brings potential to the table now making the switch to a nursery. Sands of Time has struggled in both starts subsequent to her impressive debut, but she's worth another chance now eased in class. The progressive Hot Scoop also has claims, but Cuban Breeze, a winner here on Monday, looks vulnerable back at this trip.

  1. GUMDROP
  2. SANDS OF TIME
  3. HOT SCOOP
