Spurofthemoment got worked up in the stalls prior to a disappointing run here last month and, judged on prior form this summer, could easily bounce back to go close. Shoot To Kill must also put a poor effort behind him but gets blinkers fitted and isn’t dismissed. This meanwhile is a drop in grade for Star Prize, a novice winner here last month and well held since on h'cap bow at Doncaster. BAL MAL is the pick however. He won four on the spin prior to his Glorious Goodwood fifth a fortnight ago. He's back down in the ratings and in grade now and, with Danny Redmond back on board, may continue his profitable summer.
