Still a maiden after 26 starts, which has to be a concern, but has gone close over hurdles a couple of times, including on latest start when beaten less than a length at Musselburgh. Drop back to 2m no issue tonight, but that overall win rate is.
Has ability, won a Jumpers Bumper at Newcastle in February and was successful on the Flat at Beverley (12f) in June too. Looks on a very workable mark and with likely ground fine, has chances in a winnable race.
Six times a winner on the Flat, 1m and soft ground bringing out the best in her. Showed promise in three hurdles starts last winter and this mark looks on the low side based on Flat ability. Watch market for a clue is the advice.
Looked the winner at Carlisle (17f) in February until weakening late, beaten a length, and possibly found the trip too far at Musselburgh when disappointing on final start. Some rain may aid his chance, and he's not discounted.
Wasn't going anywhere quickly last year but seemed to show improved form (after a wind operation) when a close fourth at Uttoxeter (20f) last month, and this drop back to 2m might suit. Every chance if building on that.
Placed last three starts and held every chance over 20f here on latest start before weakening late on. Drop back to 2m not sure to suit but top jockey booked and he should throw down a challenge at some point.
Overall strike rate of three wins in 59 starts tells you plenty, he's hard to catch right at the best of times but these are his conditions. Not seen since last December though, and will surely need the run regardless.
Sent off huge prices last five starts and hasn't shown a lot, although it wasn't a disaster at Sedgefield on final start of last season. Hard to fancy here all the same.
No win in 29 starts and form shown last month nothing to write home about; hard to enthuse about his chances here.

CALIFORNIA SOUL seemed to benefit from a wind operation when not beaten far into fourth at Uttoxeter last month and this drop back to 2m might see him in an even better light. He can take this at the expense of Chosen Flame, who might prefer a bit further but should run his race and hit the places. Zabeel Star looks on a fair mark and can make his presence felt, along with Old Jewry and Gemologist, both of whom hold claims.
