Hard to find many positives from form of last winter but well handicapped if you want to go back far enough and possible a breathing operation might have improved things; risky, but not discounted in a weak contest.
Might have needed the run when weakening out of things late on here over 20f last month, and should strip fitter here. Hood now removed as well, drops in trip and there are reasons to think a better effort might be forthcoming.
Just one win in 25 starts under all codes has to be a concern, but there is a race to be won with him on his second to Ashington at Musselburgh last year. Will strip fitter for a run on the Flat and has place chances here.
Only moderate form shown in three hurdles starts last year but goes handicapping on a basement mark in a weak race, which at least offers him a more realistic chance. Had a wind operation, and watch market is the advice.
Won a couple of little races in the spring of 2019 but found life harder after that, and she was well held on her reappearance here last month. Drop back to 2m will help, and she may put a better effort in from the front this time.
Hard to catch right, and was beaten at odds-on on the Flat at Leicester last week, but has ability and if the rain stays away (needs good ground) then he'll have his chance once more.
Hasn't shown a lot in a handful of hurdles starts and no better for the switch to handicaps last two, sent off big prices and well held. That was over a year ago too, so will surely need the run after such an absence.
5lb higher than her C&D win last September, that her only win in 26 starts to date, and she was running a little below par when last seen out in January. Others make stronger cases for the win.
Has beaten just three horses home in her three hurdles starts but on the plus side, is only five so can improve, has no weight to carry in a moderate race and has the services of the champion jockey. A market move would need heeding.
Yet to so much as hit the frame after 16 starts and positives about her chance are hard to find from 2lb out of the handicap.

Forecasts
Great Colaci (3/1), Astute Boy (4/1), Effet Special (9/2), Framley Garth (5/1), Dagian (13/2), Wise Coco (15/2), Lady Samback (8/1), Tannadice Park (14/1), Last King Of Wales (20/1), Spirit Of Dreams (25/1), Paddy Melia (80/1)
Money for Tannadice Parkwould obviously make her a lot more interesting than she looks on paper, but in an open race EFFET SPECIAL is given another chance now dropped back to the minimum trip, which might see him in a better light. Lady Samback might be dangerous if she's allowed a soft lead, and as frustrating as Great Colaci is, his form chance is clear enough to see. Daglan can't be ruled out if the breathing operation has done the trick.
- Effet Special
