Making his belated debut as a five-year-old. Unsold as a yearling. Dam unraced half-sister to Group 3 winner Iver Bridge Lad out of 1m2f winning dam. All signs pointing to him being best watched.

Did very little wrong in first two starts but can be a handful. Looked in need of the effort when ninth in 7f York handicap on return and now tries his hand at sprinting.

Never threatened over C&D on debut but took big step forward when third next time out at Wolverhampton (6f). Needs more to reverse form with Cotai Again but gets a weight pull with that rival.

Finished well-beaten on debut effort and didn't improve when 10L fifth on turf debut at Chepstow (5f) in June. Absent since and needs more.

Costly yearling purchase by Pivotal. Slowly away but notably took the eye when rushing home to take second at Yarmouth (6f) on debut last month. Likely to be more streetwise so is shortlisted.

Verdict

PRAISED was a filly who went into many people's notebooks for her debut last time and had she not fluffed her lines at the start she would have finished a lot closer or arguably challenged for victory. She is likely to be all the rage for this and gets weight all-round. The one who should be her main rival is Cotai Again, who stepped up on a poor return last time and arguably looks in better shape now he has been gelded. One of interest is End Zone, who looked slightly regressive from his solid debut last term and now tries his hand at sprinting.
  1. Praised
  2. Cotai Again
  3. End Zone
