Not an easy one to win with he's capable of some fair form over fences and possibly needed the run at Uttoxeter (26.1f) last time. Not disgraced on that occasion he's just above his last winning mark having found higher marks beyond him of late.
Some promise in his early form under Rules but lightly-raced of late, failing to build on early potential with last year a write-off. Stopped the collapse in a first-time tongue-tie added to cheekpieces over 15.8f here last time, not sure to repeat.
Won only Irish point-to-point, improved over fences building on promising debut in this sphere to win last two handicaps six months apart. Jumped well at Bangor (3m) last time, won with something hand, 10lb higher but still has a leading chance.
Point-to -point winner after failing to win from Alan King finally getting off the mark at Huntingdon (23.6f) late last year off 6lb lower. Back on track last time at Uttoxeter, not disgraced when chasing home a thriving race-fit winner over 3m.
Hasn't stood much racing under Rules (5-15 in point-to-points) since winning a novices' hunters' chase in April 2017 on debut. Failed to complete in two hunter chases since then prior to winning a handicap chase after a two year hiatus last time.
Eventually shed his maiden tag on his 29th start at Ludlow in October an already thin looking race rather falling apart behind him as he made all. Not disgraced up in grade on his return, will find this grade more acceptable having had an outing.
Course winner (25.6f) last December that win the first leg of a hat-trick when gaining his first win for over two years having eased down the weights. Quickly went off the boil after his last win failing to complete twice, bit to prove on return.
Two small-field wins to his name for his yard the second coming over fences at Huntingdon (23.6f) last November, looked sure to go on from that but not seen again until recently. Well held on recent return (work to do with Thomas Shelby).
Won back-to-back good ground handicap chases at around this trip last summer off higher marks, struggled afterwards before signing off with a good second. Too free on hurdles return has a good mark to work with if returning to form.

There may be a little more depth to this contest than the early market suggests with one or two dangers lurking to obvious favourite ROBYNDZONE who is bidding to complete a hat-trick having been given a 10lb rise for his Bangor 3m win last time. Fergal O’Brien’s charge should still be up to the task but will need to be on his game against the likes of Thomas Shelby who will have fair claims if he comes on for his second at Uttoxeter last time where he had Fr Humphrey behind. King Golan features off a nice mark if his hurdles outing has brought him on while Pride Of Parish is another threat of what still looks a fair mark given his previous form.
