Unraced son of No Nay Never that is a half-brother to 5 winners over this sort of trip. He cost 150,000 gns as a yearling and runs for a top yard. Owned by a locally based syndicate and certainly merits a betting check at the very least.
First foal of a 6f winning dam that is a half-sister to Listed winner Alicante Dawn and Recob, who was placed over 6f as a 2-Y-O in Italy. Interesting if backed on his racecourse debut.
A half-brother to the useful Masaru; his dam was placed on the Fibresand and is a half-sister to several speedy types. His yard is highly respected and in-form, so a betting check is advised.
Cost 150,000 gns and is a half-brother to 5f winner Well Done Fox and Excellently Poised; the dam also won over 5f and is a half-sister to the likes of Group 3 placed Rapid Applause and Bessington, a 6f winner for this same regal owner; a player.
Both previous starts were solid efforts and this son of Kodiac already looks like he knows what's required from him. Faces some unexposed types but they'll all have to go some to get the better of him if he continues to improve.
Cost £80,000 as a two-year-old and is a half-brother to Group 3 winner Brian Ryan and Kindly, who is effective at 6f; his dam was also successful over 6f as a juvenile. Runs for a top yard so must be on the list for a betting check.
Changed hands for £49,000 and makes some appeal on pedigree; his dam won over 7f but is a half-sister to a couple of sprint winners. His yard is capable of getting one ready but is more associated with a patient approach. Will be sharper for a run.
Respectable effort on debut over 7f here in June but was readily brushed aside over 6f at Hamilton last time. Down in trip again here and something prove this time.
Poet's Voice filly out of a Kodiac mare, her dam was placed over 6f on the AW but is a sister to a 5f winner. Pedigree lacks the sparkle of some of the others and her yard has been very quiet lately.
Never in contention on debut at Musselburgh last month and while she can be expected to have benefited from the run, others make more appeal at this early stage.

Hard to know what to expect from some of these but the likes of High Security and Shark Two One look the part on paper and definitely merit scrutiny in the betting. As does Nomadic Empire, who has a valuable edge in terms of experience and could well be too wise for most. However, the nomination for a punt goes to DEWEY ROAD, who runs in the colours of the Middleham Park Stud and looks to have been found a good opening in which to make his racecourse debut. If he's going to be up to fulfilling his entry in the Redcar Two-Year-Old Trophy, he'll have to post a bold effort here. The betting will be informative.
